Dabs x Myla x Kems Truck Collabs

Friday, August 24th, 2012

Dabs, Myla and Kems painted a box truck earlier this year that was pretty flawless looking. I am such a huge fan of all of their work and this collaboration is great to see. If you missed my time hanging out with Kems, Ges and Jimbo in RI while they painted the tunnel there, you can read about it here. I still have yet to see Dabs and Myla paint live, but watching this video below gives you an idea of their process.

Recently they met up again to paint another truck…

I love the characters on these!

Os Gemeos at Boston’s ICA

Monday, August 13th, 2012

Boston’s ICA is currently featuring the first U.S. solo exhibition of Os Gêmeos, twin brothers and  Brazilian graffiti powerhouses Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo. The patterns and bright colors burst off of the walls and although they may not be as brilliant in these images as they are in real life, i hope they entice you enough to go see this exhibit! Runs until November 25.

Mural by the twins while they were in Boston. There’s been a bit of a controversy surrounding this piece, but I won’t get into it here.
