George Lamontagne’s Custom Munny

NC-based artist George Lamontagne has an affinity for creating curiously intriguing creatures. In his most recent custom creation, which one fan of his work appropriately dubbed “Mario’s worst nightmare”, he’s taken his customs to a fantastic new level, opening up the head of a Munny to make a terrifyingly hungry-looking plant. For this custom, George cut ‘x’ shaped incisions into the Munny’s head, and then bent back the pieces to create petals. To sculpt the additions, he utilized epoxy clay. To finish it all off, he used acrylic paints and added a clear gloss on the mouth and matte clear on the body. I really like this custom and am excited to see more work from this artist.
