Ghost in the Machine : Wheelbarrow

We’ll be featuring each artist contributing to our upcoming “Ghost in the Machine” custom Ghost Girl show opening May 13th. The Opening reception is 5/13 from 6-9pm @ myplasticheart nyc

Ryan or better known as just “Wheelbarrow” is a true artist at heart. Trained as a graphic designer, this “we_rd f_ck_r”” has bounced around the country experimenting with various mediums and styles at his leisure. His love for toys and habitual urge of collecting crap lead him to Kidrobot, where he now daylights as their Social Media Ambassador running the KRonikle. But at night he practices the art of screen printing, abstract typographic design and really warpy drawings that are inspired by nature, organic shapes, happy accidents, bad typography, thrift stores and all things wondrous. Wheelbarrow continues to express himself in fresh and unique ways while maintaining a sense of style all his own.
“Where there’s a wheel. There’s a barrow! Then you load it up, take it out and get on with it.”
