New Release Rundown : Week of April 23rd

Hey-O! It might just be the Spring fever talking, but this is one of my favorite rundowns I have done for mph! There are so many great items in the shop, it’s making me a bit crazy. I can’t choose! So, before I go overboard, here is this week’s Release Rundown!

  • First up we have a new release from Kronk – Lovebirds – The clean, cute design on these and the array of colors make this 4″ figure worth the $19.99. Each one sits on its tail, with it’s heart-shaped feet in the air, allowing it to be combined with another one to form a heart shape. This figure is brimming with love and will give anyone warm-fuzzies any time. Available in black, orange, purple and teal. Comes in a pretty great artist designed box too.
  • Next up we have a myplasticheart exclusive – Turtle Tetsujin by Peter Kato – You may remember this collab back in March when mph and Kato teamed up to create this figure for the Hinomaru Charity, which benefited the victims of the tsunami in Japan. Now available in Metal Fusion Orange and Metal Fusion Silver! Low stock on all figures, so act fast!
  • The Missing Ji Ja Bird from mr. clement – A love story from the imaginative mind of mr. clement. These Ji Ja Birds are missing someone… perhaps each other? I love the stories behind this artist’s characters. Figure comes in Orange and Grey. Let your mind daydream about these two little characters.
  • Chester Runcorn in Port by Doktor A x Kuso Vinyl – Originally released at Wondercon in March. If you love Doktor A, this would be a welcome addition in your collection. His detailing and color choice makes this mustachieod tripedal figure a great piece. So, tip your hat to this gentleman.
  • NKOTB : 420 mph exclusive from Healeymade – Released on 4/20, this figure is another mashup from NY artist David Healey. It’s pinkalicious and pays homage to some radical 80’s figures.
  • Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Snow White illustrated by Camile Rose Garcia – I can’t get enough of Camille Rose Garcia’s illustrations. She delicately and beautifully has mastered the melancholy, reaching a perfect balance of beauty and sadness in her work. Both of these books will make amazing additions to your bookshelf. Read more about Snow White here.

Happy Weekend!
