Rabid, Wild & Docile artists Evoker and MCA have joined forces to create a piece for the Friends With Benefits exhibit opening on May 4th in Boston, MA at The Distillery. The piece is loosely based on MCA’s Qee-Zilla Kid, a 5″ vinyl toy scheduled to come out sometime this year. According to the curator of the show, Mister Never, Friends With Benefits “collects the individual and collaborative work of artists selected by members of Project Super Friends (SF). Collaborations between the artist and respective member of SF serve as a visual essay on the curatorial process.” Excited to see these two collaborate; I am really enjoying the blue and grey tones in this piece. I like that they decided to go with blue instead of the standard green we might have expected for this character.
